The House

Tourné is a fine maison de maitre in the Artillac valley, built by the Vicomte de Bellissens in 1858. With extensive gardens, woodland and river access, the house has three floors with a large adjoining activity studio and separate gite. The house, studio and gite are available for family holidays, private retreats and group events with the emphasis on well being and rejuventaion.

Food

As far as possible, we use only vegetables and fruit grown in our garden. Additional supplies are purchased from local organic gardens or suppliers. Generally, our cooking is vegetarian. We will also serve fresh fish from the river and chicken when local birds are available. Our cuisine has an oriental and middle eastern emphasis. We provide well balanced and nutritious food that we have prepared and where possible grown ourselves. Guests who are undertaking detox retreats will be provided with all the necessary supplements and special diets can be prepared according to the regime being followed. No reservation is made until the deposit has been received. you may pay using Paypal or by cheque in euros or in sterling made payable to Paula Chatlani and sent to Tourné, 09420, Castelnau Durban, France. if you wish to pay by cheque, please use the form below [e-mail] to let us know your cheque is en route and we will reserve your place provisionally for 15 days pending the arrival of the cheque. 
Deposits are non refundable. 
Please note that the minimum stay for chambre d'hote is two nights.
